The Greek Crisis (2009-2018)
The Greek Crisis (2009-2018) consists of a series of reforms and austerity measures that led to impoverishment and social exclusion for large population. Five national election rounds and a divisive referendum took place the same period, as Greece was found one step before leaving the Eurozone. Hundreds of protests turned violent and a neo-nazi party entered Parliament. Thousands of well-educated Greeks have left the country.
